VIVA-Coldplay:
This is an advert for tour dates.
It shows- the names of supporting acts, dates, location, website and other ways to contact.
I could use-website and ways of contact
It is effective because- It has the name of the concert 'VIVA' in bold letters and bright colours. It also has the names of the supporting acts (Jay-Z & Girls Aloud) in big, black letters, so if someone is a fan of Jay-Z, seeing his name will make them read the advert.
Midlake-The Courage of Others
This is a leaflet for the release of an album.
It shows- the release date, quotes, tour dates, websites, HMV logo
I could use-release date, quotes, HMV logo
It is effective because-the picture is a mirror image and looks quite sinister. It is thin and small so people would mind taking it if given in the street as it is not too big to carry around.
Delphic-Acolyte
This is an advert for the release of an album
It shows-the album cover, quotes and star rating, website
I could use-star rating
It is effective because-most of the advert is taken up by the picture and it is so unusual that it will make people notice it. It has the band name in the centre of the picture in an unusual font, making it look modern.
Massive Attack-Heligoland
This is an advert for he release of an album
It shows-a picture of a zombie looking face with a grey rainbow above it, the name of the band and the album seperated by spaces, release date, website
I could use-the unusual spacing of the letters in the name of the band and album
It is effective because-the picture looks like someone has painted on the advert, and the grey colour is very effective against the orange background, so it stands our. By having the spacin between the letters makes the reader need to look fully and concentrate to work out what it is saying, making them read it unitentionally, and become aware of the album.

Whoops :(
Today we looked at our filming from the park only to find that we had recorded over some of our footage from the drama room :(
We have not yet decided if we are going to re-film it or not.
We will start editing and if we decide we need it then we will.
We have decided though that we are going to be extra careful when we film! ;)

MORE filming
After looking at the footage of Becky lip syncing in the drama room this morning, we decided to re-film after school as it did not look great, and Becky lacked expression and emotion. So we went back into the drama room and set up the stage again. This time we put a stool on it for Becky to sit on, and we borrowed an accustic guitar from the music department. This time Becky did it perfectly, mouthing the words, pretending to play the guitar, used face expressions and filled it with emotion, but it ment me and Charlotte had to look away and talk because she felt a bit embarressed, which was no problem.

We also decided to have Becky write out the line from the chorus: 'Please dont let me down again' across the board. We are thinking of speading it up and editing it in time with the line in the song. We are now happy with our filming, and have even got a boy to star in it!
Presenting....Ricky! He has saved our bacon and we will be going over to the park and filming him and Becky having fun and just generally messing about, tomorrow after school. Also we will be going back down to London next Wednesday with Ricky to film then together in Regents park, to represent that the filming of Becky from there that we already have, is her going back there after they have split, to re-live the memories with him.

Filming
Today we stayed after school, and used the drama room. We set up a stage and stood Becky on it with a microphone. Charlotte worked the camera, using different angles, and i worked the lights, changing from light to dark and from red to blue to create a gig scene. Becky had dressed for the part, and she even found a black boys hat in the drama room which she decided to wear. We then decided to work it into our story and make it the boyfriends hat, which she throws to the floor after she gets a text from him saying 'its over'. We filmed this scene also, with Becky sat at the edge of the stage with the lights bright, as if she is sat practicing, and then gets a text (zoom on phone) stands up, drops the hat to the floor and walks out of shot.
This time Becky was alot better with her singing, but lacked much emotion, so she said she would work on it for next time, as we had to leave at 5, even though we wanted to carry on! So we decided to film in the drama room again during our lessons and for the rest of the week.

Focus time
We have now done our resit exam. This means we can go back to focusing on our music video. Today in lesson we filmed some lip syncing. We asked permission to use the drama room and set up a little stage, used the lighting and had ecky on the stage with a microphone. We then discovered how hard it is, so we are going to have to get it done quickly if we are going to leave enought time to complete the editing properly. So me and my group have decided to do filming Thursday and Friday and Becky is goin to practice singing in the mirror so she gets used to moving her mouth more so we can see her singing the words. I am looking forward to it :)

Resit Exam&Lyrics
I am currently revising for my media re-sit exam, along with the rest of my group so we have not been able to do any filming.
However we were able to get the lyrics for our song, after me and becky spent nearly a whole lesson listening to it and writing down what we though it said. Then, amazingly one of our class friends had a brain wave and searched for the lyrics on the internet, and there they were. We then found that we were completeky wrong about some of the lyrics, but we decided ours were more fun :) Anyway, here they are:
Ainjel Emme-Set Up For a Fall
Seems to be the way
That it always happens
Every other day
It seems to be the way
Does it have to be today
Can you come back tomorrow
This is just the suffering thatI go through for you
Torrid and confused
I box in the colors
Can I paint it blue
To correspond with you
Are you hiding in my room
When I am burning sleepless
Tickling the fire to sear me
All night through
CHORUS:
Love, love
Please don't let me down again
Watch the sky go gray
What else can I say now
I see the landscape
Fog over and fade
And behind me lies a truth
That never lived its promise
This is just the suffering
That I go through
I said
CHORUS:
Love, love
Please don't let me down again
